Young, Weirton; one daughter, Mrs. John (Arlene) Rose, Summit Point; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Vera) Unger, Berkeley Springs, and Mrs. Danny (Mary Helen) Damiano, Stockholm, N.J; one brother, Carroll Young, Berkeley Springs and two grandchildren. Services were conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Hunter Funeral Home by the Rev. Thomas W. Jackson. Burial was in Greenway Cemetery. The family has requested that memorial remembrances take place in the form of contributions to the Heart Fund.2

Services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Hunter Funeral Home here with the Rev. Tracy K. Boyer, of Silver Spring, Md., Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial was in Greenway Cemetery. Bearers were: Lee Dunham, George Yetter, Joseph Young, Emil Barney, Frank Cuneo, Fred Rabilious, Albert Talkin and Pervy Griffin.5

Jackson, Mrs. Harry Fout, Cross Junction and Mrs. William Hanshaw, Martinsburg; five brothers, Thurman Puffinburger, Berkeley Springs, Troy, of Winchester, Theodore, Gerrardstown, and Woodrow, Kearneysville. A funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon in Bunker Hill Methodist Church with Rev. C. Thomas Subock and Rev. C.J. Hoover officiating. Interment was in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.3

ObitGeorge Washington's obituary was published in the an unknown place on after 13 August 1916:

Mr. Geo. W. Lutman, an old and respected resident of Morgan county, died on Sunday morning, August 13, 1916, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Waugh, living near New Hope, three miles east of Berkeley Springs. About two weeks before his death he was partially paralyzed and grew worse until the end came. He was aged 77 years, 2 months and 28 days. Mrs. Waugh, with whom he made his home for a number of years, is his only child; to her his departure is a great loss.
He leaves three brothers, William, Thornton and Daniel and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Michael and Mrs. John Waugh. In his death the few old veterans of the Civil war, who are left loose another of their old comrades, he having served as a soldier in Co. F, 2nd Maryland Regiment of the Union Army for a term of three years. The funeral services were held at the home, conducted by Rev. C.H. Crowell. His body was laid to rest in Greenway cemetery by the side of his wife, who died and was buried there in the year 1874.7

The body is at the Parks Funeral Home where it will remain for services at two o'clock Friday. The Rev. E.C. Day, of Woodstock, Va., will officiate. Burial will be in Greenway.3

Shade Culp; son, Hugh Culp, New Orleans, La; three step-sons, Sam Shade, Berkeley Springs, Clarence Shade, Reading, Pa., and Chester Shade, Fayetteville, Ark; two step-daughters, Wanda Dick, Dallastown, Pa., Ethellene Nolan, York, Pa; two sisters, Lillie Rankin, Berkeley Springs and Bessie Mellott, Valley View Nursing Home; one grandchild; 15 step-grandchildren and 12 step great grandchildren. Services were conducted Wednesday, February 18, 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Hennis H. Fox and Rev. Henry L. Fisher at the Hunter Funeral Home. Military graveside services were conducted by Alderton-Dawson American Legion Post 60. Interment was in Greenway Cemetery. Arrangements were by Hunter Funeral Home.6

Funeral services for Benjamin Harrison Daily, 61, who died early Thursday morning, February 12, following a brief illness, were held Saturday afternoon at Trinity Evangelical U.B. Church with the Rev. E.D. Spencer officiating. A native of this count, he was a son of the late James C., and Susan Rankin Dailey. For the past several months he had been employed at the Victor Products plan here.
Surviving are his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn DeHaven and Miss Lorraine Dailey; two sons, Roscoe and Dayton; a brother, William, and two sisters, Mrs. Oscar Cross and Miss Lilly Dailey, all of Berkeley Springs. Burial was in Greenway Cemetery where the Junior Order, of which he was a member, conducted graveside services.4
