Survivors include one sister, Pattie Smith of Delrose, Tenn; and one brother, Leon Curtis of San Francisco.³

Burial was in Shiloh Cemetery. A native of Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Thomas and Margie Thorpe Curtis. He was a veteran of World War II and a shipping supervisor for Genesco. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth McGee Curtis of Fayetteville; two daughters, Mrs. Lesia Bergman and Mrs. Rita Mitchell of Fayetteville; two sisters, Mrs. Woodie Hensley of Fayetteville and Mrs. Pattie Smith of Delrose; three brothers, Gene Curtis and Tommy Curtis of Fort Worth, Texas and Leon Curtis of San Francisco, Calif. and three grandchildren.³
