Nettie Green and Robert Michaux (Misher) Curtis appeared on the census of 10 July 1900 at Lower Beaver Precinct, Fremont, Colorado, ED 33, sheet 51A, occupation farm laborer, renting, married 4 years, no children.¹

Death*

Nettie Green died on 24 June 1902 at Fremont, Colorado, at age 22; buried at Lower Beaver Creek Cemetery.⁴

Obit

Nettie's obituary was published in the Tribune on 3 July 1902:
The largest funeral ever held on Beaver was held on the 25^th when the body of Nettie Curtis was laid to res. Mrs. Curtis died on June 24^th from blood poison. A husband, R.M. Curtis and an infant daughter survives. Mrs. Curtis was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D.C. Green. Only 18 months ago, a brother of E.L. Curtis, lost his wife in the same way. Mrs. Nettie Curtis was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Rev. Fisher of Canon conducted the services in the absence of the pastor, Rev. Wilson.³
